Abstract: Managing a building and its equipment includes a wide-range of environmental considerations; it is critical to be aware of them in advance, instead of playing catch-up after a deadline has passed or equipment has been installed. This presentation reviews five common environmental compliance issues to help increase awareness for facility engineers and managers. A high-level overview of the regulations are discussed, as well as the common pitfalls to avoid and how to mitigate risk. The presentation focuses on real-world examples based upon consulting experience in facility management.
