Career Highlights
Nate joined ALL4 in July 2024 after graduating from Penn State with a degree in Geography, minors in Spanish and Information Science and Technology (IST), and certificates in GIS, Geospatial Data Analytics, and Global Environmental Systems. In summer of 2022, he conducted an independent research study through the Erickson Discovery Grant program quantifying the nutritional yield within Morocco’s montane agroforestry systems. Nate presented his research at the American Association of Geographers (AAG) 2023 Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado and received recognition for data visualization at the Penn State Undergraduate Research Exhibition. In summer of 2023, he studied abroad in Australia and New Zealand on a Sustainable Business program, cultivating a passion for sustainability and ESG. Additionally, Nate worked as a cartography assistant at Penn State, developing 150+ maps and figures for the third edition of instructional text Designing Better Maps: A Guide for GIS Users.
