Brian’s expertise spans auditing, program development and management, permitting, and training. His focus areas include OSHA compliance, Industrial Hygiene, ISO standards, water and waste water management, emergency preparedness, risk mitigation, Due Diligence, and hazardous waste.
Brian Godfrey, a resident of Greenville, SC, is happily married to his wife, Heidi. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University, and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership, set to be completed in 2024.
Brian holds the Graduate Safety Practitioner and Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, as well as Industrial Hygiene Specialist Certificate from Columbia Southern University. He is an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer for General Industry and Construction. He is also Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 (EMS) and ISO 45001 (SMS).
A veteran of the US Navy, Brian transitioned to a career as a Paramedic/Firefighter before finding his passion in environmental, health, and safety (EHS). With over 20 years of experience in the field, he has made significant contributions in various industries, including automotive, energy, oil & gas, construction, chemical, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage.
