WHAT’S THE WEBINAR ABOUT?
This is the third and final webinar regarding updates to the NAAQS and how you may be impacted. This session will include a quick overview of the current PM2.5 and lead NAAQS, provide updates on EPA’s reconsideration of the December 7, 2020 decision to retain the existing PM2.5 standards, and discuss the upcoming review of the lead standard. We are expecting that U.S. EPA will propose a reduction in the PM2.5 standard soon and that they will finalize a revised standard next year. Therefore, we will highlight the regulatory implications of that change, including related changes to air permitting strategy and air quality dispersion modeling. The webinar will include a presentation along with an opportunity for you to ask questions related to the PM2.5 and lead NAAQS updates and their potential implications.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Professionals and plant personnel with air permitting and/or compliance responsibilities (e.g., corporate and plant environmental staff, plant management, environmental specialists, etc.). Feel free to forward this invitation along to your colleagues.
WHY ATTEND?
This webinar will address current regulatory activity related to the PM2.5 and lead NAAQS, and how a more stringent PM2.5 standard will impact air permitting strategy and air quality dispersion modeling in attainment and nonattainment areas. This is the final NAAQS updates webinar of 2022, and we will conclude with a preview of several relevant topics to be covered in 2023.
