WHAT’S THE WEBINAR ABOUT?
In this third webinar of our Data Center series, we will cover what data centers need to consider when purchasing, installing, and operating oil storage tanks and containers. This session will present environmental requirements and considerations such as federally mandated Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) programs, state and local storage tank permits and plans, and other petroleum storage tank nuances that are often overlooked. The presentation includes specific examples from multiple states to highlight how requirements can vary by location.

Understanding the various local, state, and federal requirements and nuances of oil storage at data centers is crucial during all phases of design, construction, and operation. How is “oil” defined? What is a “bulk storage container”? How do I know if I need an SPCC Plan? What do data centers wish they knew about oil storage plans and permits?
