Clean Water Act (CWA) Facility Response Plans (40 CFR Parts 112 and 118)
WHAT’S THE WEBINAR ABOUT?
In this webinar, we will review the applicability criteria and requirements for Facility Response Plans (FRPs) required by 40 CFR Parts 112 (oil) and 118 (CWA hazardous substances). Oil FRPs have been required for subject facilities since the 1990s, and in March 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) finalized regulations requiring FRPs for Clean Water Act hazardous substances. Facilities that already have an oil FRP will be required to amend it or develop a new plan to meet the requirements of 40 CFR Part 118, if subject. In this webinar, we will review what facilities should consider in determining whether or not they meet the applicability criteria for each rule and, if so, what next steps facilities should take to be in compliance by the June 1, 2027 deadline.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone in your organization who has responsibility for CWA compliance or emergency response.
