About WATER101
WATER101 provides a foundational knowledge of various water-related regulatory programs, with an emphasis on the Clean Water Act (CWA). The program covers the history of water-related regulations, water quality protections, and an overview of regulatory programs that impact industrial operations (wastewater permitting and discharge, stormwater permitting and discharge, contingency and response plans, and drinking water and water resources). The topics covered by WATER101 will be those encountered by environmental personnel in their real-world projects.
WATER101 is delivered via six 1-hour webinar sessions, so no out of facility or office time is required for WATER101 participation. The training program is geared towards professionals with limited or no experience in the field of water quality with the goal of helping individuals understand the obligations that may impact regulated facilities on a day-to-day basis. It may also be helpful for professionals with experience in a specific sub-discipline of water quality who are looking to expand their knowledge.
Numerous professional designations require continuing education/professional development. Upon completing WATER101, a certificate will be provided identifying ALL4’s WATER101 as 6 hours of continuing education/professional development. Many states and professional organizations accept continuing education hours/professional development hours for license/certification renewal purposes. To ensure acceptability in each personal situation, please check with the requirements of your State Board/Professional Organization.

Registration for WATER101 is on an individual user basis. Each user has access to live webinars and the recordings after each session. Discounts are available for groups of 4 or more.

Paul believes that having more than a cursory understanding of the history and intent of water quality regulations enhances how facilities incorporate those regulations into their daily business routines. Being smart about regulations that direct how to permit, demonstrate compliance, and monitor discharges provides a competitive advantage to the water quality professional and, at the very least, puts him/her on equal footing when interacting with regulators. During WATER101, Paul engages in dialogue with other ALL4 experts on foundational water quality topics, and incorporates examples, survey and poll questions, and other interactive methods that quickly fill up each hour session.
